The Teltonika FMT100 is a compact, waterproof 2G GNSS vehicle tracker built for fast, tool-light installation. It connects directly to the car battery with a clamp connector and pre-crimped cable, and its high-gain internal antenna is designed to work even mounted under the hood - so a typical install takes only a few minutes. With a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope for insurance-grade crash detection and a rugged IP65 housing, it suits light vehicles, taxi and courier fleets, rental/leasing and usage-based-insurance telematics.

It is powered from the vehicle (10-30 V DC) and keeps reporting briefly on its internal backup battery if power is cut. Out of coverage, records are buffered in internal memory and uploaded once the connection returns - so no part of the route is lost.

Need a quick location check without opening an app? Text the command ggps to the tracker's phone number and it replies with the current date, time, speed and a clickable Google Maps link to the vehicle's position.

Wiring

The FMT100 uses a simple two-wire connection to the vehicle battery:

• PIN 1 - VCC (red): power supply, +10-30 V DC
• PIN 2 - GND (black): ground

Installation

Insert the Micro-SIM and connect the device to the battery, then mount it where it does not obstruct other components:

1. Unscrew the 6 screws (counter-clockwise) and remove the cover.
2. Insert the Micro-SIM (PIN request disabled), cut-off corner pointing toward the slot.
3. Connect the battery / power as shown, positioning the cable so it does not obstruct other components.
4. Re-attach the cover and screw it back in - the device is ready to be mounted.
